The problem
904 Tents & Events rents tents, tables, chairs, dance floors and décor for weddings, parties and company events across St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. Customers need to see what’s available for their date, what it costs, and how delivery works, and the business needs bookings to land in its rental system without double-handling.
What I built
A custom Astro site with Booqable built in, so the rental software does what it’s good at (inventory, availability, carts and checkout) inside a site designed to sell and rank.
- Booking that feels native: Booqable’s product buttons and cart are styled to the brand, so checkout feels like part of the site instead of a bolted-on widget.
- Dates first: visitors pick their event dates once, and pricing and availability update across every rental on the site.
- One source of truth: every rental and category comes from a single inventory file, so adding a product updates its category page, menus and counts everywhere.
- Packages that sell: tent, table and chair bundles sized to guest count, with add-ons for lighting, sidewalls and fans.
- A clear process: browse and pick dates, request a quote, lock the date with a 50% deposit, and the balance is due 30 days before the event.
Built to be found
Event rentals are searched by occasion and by town, so the site is organized the same way.
- Occasion pages for weddings, graduations, showers, backyard parties, corporate events, fundraisers, holiday parties and church events, each showing the rentals that fit.
- Area pages for the towns they serve, each with its own local content. They’re deliberately not copies with the town name swapped, which search engines treat as spam.
- Structured data describing the business, its service area and its rentals, plus an
llms.txtso AI assistants can read the site cleanly.
Why it matters for clients
Rental software is great at inventory and checkout, and rarely great at selling or ranking. Pairing it with a custom site gives you both: the booking system you already trust, inside a site built to bring in customers.
